Guns smokes,

The pipe smokes,

the poor white boy steals,

cause and effect,

You see what you wanna see, you believe it

because you need it, to be what you want it to be.

 

The gavel falls,

the legislation begins,

cause and effect,

you see the effect, you give it cause.

 

On the floor a man is bleeding,

the abused wife, knife in hand is weeping,

cause and effect,

you see the effect, you give it cause.

 

You see what you wanna see, you believe it

because you need it, to be what you want it to be.
