Raindrops of BlessingA Poem by L.C. Jarrette“Raindrops of Blessing” The cold bites, the town has fled alone at night, I lay on my bed “Rain is a blessing “, a man once said Sunny days I would prefer But being this far from each other I just listen to the claps on the roof reminiscin’ Now the cold hugs me every night Truly grateful for what I have in life I now smile and I wish you only knew how those drops reminded me of you Remembering the song I used to sing Oh rain, what joy you bring And I recall those words once more from the man whom I adore saying that rain is a blessing. © 2019 L.C.
