I'd like to thank sir Richard for helping me with this poem. Thank you very much sir for teaching me. May the Father bless you for being so generous in sharing your wisdom to us.
Lihim, hinahangaan ko ang iyong mga tula sa maliwanag na mga paraan ng pag-init na hindi ko masahas na sabihin sa mundo.
Lady LC,
I have some thoughts on this one that might interest you, and if you care to, message me for details.
Yes, I thought it seemed familiar, and Poe would be quite proud of you, I am sure, in sheer enjoyment of how you've utilized his nuances to express such a powerfully vivid message that is, undoubtedly, yours.
A brilliant piece from your fertilely creative mind and imagination, for all to enjoy and reap benefit from … thank you ever-so warmly, Dear Poetess! ⁓ Richard : )

It's an honor, LC, to help a blossoming poetess … anytime! : )
What... Jarrette... This is jaw-dropping... No... No seriously... I learned a few things reading this, and I continue to re-read it... I could not be more surprised... This is an epic level of detailed metaphorical and image-driven regale... I am literally speechless from how good it is, your rhyming is as tight as your breath control... Unique and utterly splendid... Who better to learn from, then Poe... Masterfully penned... Seriously...

another great poem!! my favorite lines-
"I enough, am bold to say, “I have lived.”
Things I might gain, I am proud to give
Then I would count it as priceless
My own blood could not suffice
Even all humanity’s sacrifice;"
Great read!

Solemn and profound on many levels. A gem that I should say might take a few reads to really piece together, but it has a wonderful flow and fantastic imagery. Well done!
