"Luna's Plea to Aurora"A Poem by L.C. JarretteSome long nights are dreadful
Evil has torn the streets
Thus leaving it bare Silence lurking as it peeps Another house up there Humanity chanting as we call Heavens hear our pray'r Keep our household away from harm In this forbidding lair Staggering footsteps roused the hounds Manned gates so vigilantly See no lights, hear no sound Watchful souls waiting to flee Whirlybird flies back and forth Awaiting for first light Hope infixed in our hearts That we may survive the night
