Parting Ways

Parting Ways

A Poem by Lloyd
"

A Poem About Something Common in the Gay Community.

"

Like a kid in a candy store -
I'm easily won over,
And we, for just a short time
Find each other -
Slowly at first, you begin like a gentle breeze,
Then old lands bring familiarity,
And we, two lonely sons of Adam,
Forget the words and stares of men
In exchange for one another.
Then when morning comes -
We part, and I leave empty.
