A Poem by Lloyd

Inside Doubts -
Like torrents pushing against the brain -
Forcing a relapse,
Back into solitude we go.
We run across to avoid diverging,
But we’re weak and lost.
No one seems to notice that
We are the strangers.
With older souls,
We find it hard to believe
In the greatest of all fairy tales.
And with the outmost difficulty …
We ask ourselves, “Why?”
Experience over Age?
We’re old and blind.
If one may ask,
None shall hear,
For fear plagues us still.
