Brains Before Beauty

Brains Before Beauty

A Poem by Lloyd

She came in velvet white,

Gloden locks and ocean eyes.

Swinging her hips like a drum,

And slightly grinning in delight,

She knows just how to work it,

And what to do to get by,

But on looks alone she won’t get far,

And years from now she’ll be old.

Her body gone with father time,

She’ll have to rely on Uncle Sam.
