Shellfish

Shellfish

A Poem by Laura Lynn Close

miracle sea
even the water
energizes us
right now
eels are nervous
send me your
frenetic hands
rigorous waves
undertow
current
here is a gem
that is brilliant
eagerly shines

the pearl found in the sea of love...that current of passion, even the darkest thoughts (the eels) get nervous...life starts to flow like easy waves.

Archaeological finds have shown that humans have been making use of shellfish for hundreds of thousands of years. Lovey poem - full of imagery and action - great write!
