She Was a Girl

She was a girl. A girl that used to smile, laugh- sing. 

She was a girl, never before disappointed with anything. 

She was a girl, who on his birthday- took it upon herself to make it the best yet. Hoping he'd remember it for years to come. She took him places, the park, the bowling alley, and for a drive. 

She was a sheep, begging for love. Begging for hope. 

She was a sheep, cornered by the wolf- though unknowing. 

That night, upon his birthday- he was a boy no more. He revealed his true wolf form. 

Strong Jaws, large haunches, and a burning desire ran through the boy as he destroyed the sheep.

Belittling her, and ripping her soul to shreds- he left her cold. 

She was a girl, turned sheep. And now she is no more.
