Addiction

It is poem that I wrote in a matter of two minutes. Looking for some feedback ,and I am really new to this whole writers cafe thing. The poem was inspired by someone I know.

Open the bottle,

Put it in your mouth, and swallow

Enter a world of a monstrous symphony

Fly through your fears,

Face the world, masked

A costume of blissful moments

Crash… Fall

Slip

Trickle

Into an empty shell

A hibernation of sorts

Until the addiction kicks in

Open the bottle

And begin again

I Wrote this poem from a random thought inspired by someone I know. I wrote it in two minutes, and would love to hear some feed back.

this is great! It shows so much emotion, and then when I read that you wrote it in two minutes I was even more impressed! It really takes you into the mind of someone who is addicted to drugs. Great write!
