Nature

Nature

A Poem by Indigo Ribbon
"

A collection of small poems

"

Lovelorn stones sing to those who pass

For as time moves, only they remain

Who knows the winter’s sister,

who sits upon the newly melted ice?

Who knows her flowering voice

which brings a bud upon every tree?

The stars dream of smaller life

of a life with hopes and dreams

and inconsequential bickering

The earth sleeps, silently spinning

wishing for something more

Sad poem but very well written. I like the way you describe nature as having feelings. It moves very slowly and sleepily, and that's a nice feeling to have while reading this poem. I tried to pick a favorite line, but they're all beautiful!
Good job on this
