How could I have known?

How could I have known

that something

so simple

so utterly pure

could of broken me

leaving small fragments left

to blow in the wind

as I try desperatly

to hold them together

 

how could I have known

That I couldn't of fixed it

that this time

everything is not ok

 

How could i have known

that the clock

is still silenty ticking away

revealing my feelings,

to be nothing more than cruel reality

 

just a dream

nothing more, nothing less
