The Last of Neanderthals

The Last of Neanderthals

A Story by Leo
"

...and so we moved North

"
...and so we moved North. Away from these lands of broken hopes. Toward the Great Grey sea, as Achi saw in his visions. That’s where all Mamuku went too, he believed, as was shown to him in the sacred dance of the spirits. Those magnificent woolly giants.

I touch my long knife carved out of their tusk. Sharp and deadly in its simple beauty.

As the road ahead of us.

Under the ever watchful gaze of old wise Kra, and fearless Miro, and my lovely Aii, and so many others taken into the sea of whispers high high above.
