Breath of Angels

Breath of Angels

A Poem by LynGeist

Some say the moments magical,
hidden behind a dream,
And I know my soul is fluttering,
Can it be just as it seems?
I haven't dared to make my way
From un forgotten tears,
And in the stillness of the early dawn,
The sun rises on those fears.
Each hope that comes to rise within
Brings passions constant pain,
Yet the soulful cry of enduring strength
Has risen from the rain.
The brilliant ray of sunshine
Lands upon a single drop,
Then makes its way from heaven,
Always knowing where to stop.
And once the spirit finds its way,
against each ebb and flow
It rides the breath of angels
To another heart and soul.

I love this poem. It's sentimental without being cheesy and cliche. The metaphor at the end is also creative and passionate. Looks like you're one to watch!
