Melding MomentsA Poem by ljc
Waken to morning’s early greeting Dawn’s kind moments quickly fleeting Sunlight swirls laden brushes Light dapples color on trees and rushes. We carry life’s tenuous currency With it fear and greed’s urgency. Stolid gears and wheels relentless turning Pouring out concrete rhythms burning Grasp smoke’s swift and sharp talons Soaring to summits of the mountains. Our cares walk with joy and pain, And on to strength and grace again. © 2019 ljcReviews
