Love is PatientA Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul
Restless as the dusk sets in
I ache without my love again For what heart should bear a soul split twice Each night without you I pay the price It’s suffocating and cold without you here I open the window; breathe in midnight air Yet while the present seems so unclear- I drift away, missing you my dear- Think of the stars shining for you and for me The moon hanging tight to fond memories My love for you extends galaxies Love is patient enough for a century. © Copyright July 2021 Elizabeth Eberhardt All Rights Reserved © 2021 Jesus & Gypsy SoulReviews
