Imagine

Whenever you feel
lost in time,
place your hand over your heart
& imagine its mine
with every beat
& every breath
the silence between
these bones in my chest
don’t ever forget
this air that we breathe
it’s meant to be shared
between you, between me
I hope it reminds you to feel more alive
