Catastrophe

Catastrophe

A Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul

CATASTROPHE

Starry sky set before you & I
In the dead dark night past four;
We’re lingering here amongst love & fear
On the porch outside my door

I can’t quite grasp it - it’s f*****g tragic
What is broken was once made whole
Your eyes, they burn straight through my soul
Quietly begging to save the girl

Because stars align and we collide
Leaving two to intertwine
There’s vastness in my love for you,
We’re universal, you & I

But catastrophe strikes leaving blaring light
But there’s nothing left to see
A Supernova come to pass
Lost between galaxies

I enjoyed this read. Nicely conveyed lines. All good wishes.
