Confusing Winds

Confusing Winds

A Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul

CONFUSING WINDS

I tighten my grip
& hold on strong
But still you slip
Like moss covered stone
This is far too quick
A whirlwind storm
Confusing winds
Breaking down this home
Once filled with love
With laughs & sighs
Total happiness- hopes & highs
Warm welcomes replaced with sad goodbyes
But storms allow for new roads to be paved
You drive me away;
A path washed out by the rain
So I regain control of a life made new
I can save only myself
For its me now without you.
