WallsA Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul
You build up your wall
& you strip off your mask I'm striving to define the boy; false or fact Your words are sweet melodies that awaken my bones Your chocolate eyes melt through this heart once turned stone You bring forth wild dreams; carefree and unknown But you sway me along like a snake to a tune I just can't decipher what's true- (In a world so confused-) So I suppose I must confess, I have my walls too. © Copyright July 2016 Elizabeth Eberhardt All Rights Reserved © 2016 Jesus & Gypsy Soul |
