Save The Girl

Save The Girl

A Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul

Tell me, tell me how to get back
to a world that seems so seamless
The heart of a child that's careless
Roaming young and wild and free

How, oh how can I find her?
Amidst the dark sporatic eye of the storm
That torments her mind, possesses her thoughts
& continually rages on..

The girl is lost. Tell me the cost.
To revive the child who once was.
She lingers there, she's unaware
that she's capable of being loved.

Tell me, please tell me how to save the girl
Who's desperate to find her way back.
Will she ever, can she ever find
A way to escape the mask

isn't it incredible
fact that we're at our freest when we're children..& we then grow & start to constrain ourselves..
beautiful read :) thanks!

Thank you, Gee!
I see why you recommended this one for me. ;) She's a lost girl, your lines reflect that in more than one way. You are talented at playing with the body of your poems. I'm going to read more...
