CureA Poem by Jesus & Gypsy SoulI get a little edgy when trying to write on romance.
Cure
Remember the night that we caught fire By passion, love and hot desire We slept past the moons and skylit night Waiting for the sun to burn out Hour by hour, we didn't escape Timeless we were in the heat of the day We soaked up time; your hand in mine We didn't hope to speak, just to keep where we were Tangled up in bed- My god- the allure Breathing you in; My sweet, my dear.... In a world so busy, in a world so cruel When I have no hopes to breathe, hopes to endure- You, my love, are my cure. © Copyright 2016 Elizabeth Eberhardt All Rights Reserved © 2016 Jesus & Gypsy Soul |
