Story of a Lonely GirlA Poem by Jesus & Gypsy Soul
This can't be the end
My stomach is sick from the lies that I spin I need to spit this out but I'm hopeless to begin Running through these days; these weeks are drifting on A smile on my face, but I'm too far gone It's the same old story, go ahead, sing along. This is the story of a lonely girl Spinning her wheels; waiting on a world Where she can love and be loved Acquire something tangible; something real But the mask cannot be stripped, can't be peeled With no hopes to reveal The dead dull heart of a sad and lonely girl. © Copyright 2016 Elizabeth Eberhardt All Rights Reserved © 2016 Jesus & Gypsy SoulReviews
