Fire 'Neath Blue Eyes

Fire 'Neath Blue Eyes

A Poem by Ama-Sama

 Somewhere not far away

Lives a little girl with bright blue eyes

Who calls out for help

But no one ever hears her crys

She’s broken inside

Her blood runs cold

Her pulse barely exists

Her story remains untold

She is white as a ghost

Her ebony hair is long and frayed

Her black dress is ripped and tattered

She wanders the streets alone and afraid

No one really notices her

She is invisible to the passersby

Who don’t see the fire

‘neath those chrystal blue eyes

They can’t see she’s hurting

Or they just don’t care

About this poor little girl

Its so unfair

Sometimes she hurts to badly

That she just lets out a shriek

Not caring who’s watching

Thinking she’s some kind of freak

She just lets out the pain

Screaming til her throat is scratched and dry

And when she can’t scream anymore

The tears start and she silently cries

Some say she’s insane

But thats because they don’t understand

All this girl has been through

They haven’t seen it first hand

They haven’t witnessed the pain

They haven’t seen what she’s seen

Memories of her past

Are so horrifiying, so obscene

This once happy, innocent little girl

Is now scared for good

She thinks maybe she’ll die

She would if she could
