Independece Day

How I depicted my fourth of July day :D

The colors of today

are permanently shattering

then fading in the darkness

Splashes of the Night Sky

Boomed and sent stretches

of echos to the empty star sky

My heart stopped in

unison; forced to listen 

too as ears do.

The eyes too weary to be bothered 

just stared without the imgaination 

of the mind. 

Instant to each instant

did the fire appear as a flower

Chemicals dancing with the wind

If only they wouldn't die so 

quickly.
