Two of Three

Two of Three

I wish I had told you
I wish I had given a clue
I wish I said it to your face
I wish I’d stayed longer in your embrace

I wish I never met you
I wish my feelings would undo
I wish I’d never shed a tear
I wish I’d never held you near

I wish to share my life
I wish to be your wife
I wish to be there night and day
I wish to be with you in every way

I truly loved you all
And one still let me fall
I broke another’s heart
Of the other, I am one part

All my love I gave
To my heart I am a slave
I said good-bye to two of three
In my heat I still loved thee

I really liked the concept of three and the one left behind aching. Love is such that you can never completely give up.

Great write.

If you play your cards right, I can be #4. I like the flow and the form. Heart felt....all lovey dovey not my thing but well done. I love the style...considering its similar to mine I think its fantastic. keep it up.
