Barren Memories

Barren Memories

A Poem by lizc0123

Thoughts are left unsaid.

Words still exist,

Now reside in my head.

Entrapped they wait inactive.

Alone in the hollow,

Undesired resistance holds them captive.

Achingly my chest will plead.

Enslaved and bound,

In the barren landscape of my memories.

Chances that were never taken.

Possibilities awaited,

Only to be disabled and forsaken.

i really Love ur way of expression n choice of the words!!!
there is no escape from the intrigue of d unsaid words.....they keep arresting ur mind n pinching ur soul.
A well balanced n rhythmic piece!!!
