The Pleasant Nuisance of a Bee

The Pleasant Nuisance of a Bee

A Poem by lizc0123

Around me you go buzzing,

In my garden I am fussing.

How pesky I truly think you are.

For with your constant wheezing,

Your persistence never ceasing.

You give it all for the greater cause.

Come with every single season,

Yes indeed, you have a reason.

Seeking that which my crops abound.

Please fly and land on every flower,

You alone withhold the power.

Lack thereof my harvest would not multiply.

This poem portrays characteristics of the loved ones in my life who impact me in a very similar way as this annoying but loved little bee.
