Do I feel

Do I feel

A Poem by Lizzy B
"

Sometimes when I feel sad I just start typing, and I usually end up with short little basic poems like this one. I'm not super proud of it, but I think all my thoughts deserve a home.

"

I feel too much.

I feel the darkest skies, the tears in your eyes,

The tears in mine.

I feel the most when anger catches up with lost time.

I swear it comes second nature to me.

Feel, cry, recover, rinse, lather, repeat.

It is the shadow that follows me even at dusk,

It is the pain I feel when the s**t I did wasn’t enough.

It is the sadness I feel when people trash my rhymes.

Sometimes I don’t feel like making my words flow fluidly every time.

Usually I aim to impress, but right now?

I’m ranting and raving and letting the words pour right out.

Keep the criticism on the poem itself. When I am vibing and writing a poem grammar usually doesn't phase me.

I feel your pain in this and others and its sad, i dont know if pain is that much better than no feelings at all. And what is grammar? Our feelings dont know what that is, i like that you keep flowing with your thoughts. Rant rave whatever, let it pour.

Feeling too much is better than feeling too little. At least you know you are alive with the first one. At least you know pain is there to keep you company.
