The s**t I worry about just ain’t right.

The stars that I be reaching for don’t shine at night.

 

The questions that I shout out are left unanswered.

The emotions that are put to rest are mixed and stirred.

 

The peep that I am close to lives so far away.

The warmth I want to feel dies day after day.

 

The life I’d like to live just doesn’t exist.

The dream I’d like to achieve just disappears in the mist.

 

What world is this that holds people down?

So many opportunities ours only results in a frown.
