Beaming Ali Larter shows off her growing baby belly in a fitted black dress at a charity event in Santa Monica

On Wednesday Ali Larter gave the world a special glimpse into her pregnancy, by posting an image of her ultrasound on Instagram.

The 38-year-old proudly shared the photo of her second child, due in a few weeks, along with the caption, '#angelbaby.'

And on Sunday the actress stepped out for the P.S. ARTS presents Express Yourself 2014 event, showing off her huge baby bump.

Ali wore a fitted black dress with beige embellishments for the event, and she coupled it with a pair of brown heeled booties.

The expectant mother's blonde locks were styled in loose waves that framed her face and hung down past her shoulders.

She was sporting a more natural look, with her face seeming free of most makeup, save for a mauve lipstick.

Express Yourself is the biggest fundraiser of the year for P.S. Arts, which works to improve the lives of children by providing arts education to under-served public schools and communities.

Ali was joined at this year's event by model Heidi Klum, who sported an edgy look in a black tank top, a black leather jacket, and black boots.

Heidi also brought her four children Henry, Johan, Lou, and Leni to the event, to take part in the arts and crafts of the day.

Melissa McCarthy and her husband actor Ben Falcone were also spotted supporting the arts on Sunday.

The two kept it casual wearing coordinating black and white sneakers and sporting jeans and sweaters for the occasion.

Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott followed suit sporting a heavy beige sweater over a simple blue T-shirt and a pair of green khaki trousers.

Saved by the Bell's Elizabeth Berkley and husband Greg Lauren took to the carpet with their son Sky Lauren.

Actress Amanda Righetti also brought her smartly dressed son Knox Alan, and she was joined on the carpet by actress Marla Sokoloff.

Both actresses sported combinations of black and white, with Marla opting for leggings and a striped top, and Amanda wearing a fitted, color-blocked dress.

Modern Family's Julie Bowen dressed up her casual pink T-shirt and skinny jeans with a dark brown blazer and a pair of brown oxfords.

Similarly Busy Philipps sported a cosy grey sweatshirt and dark wash skinny jeans, but added sophistication to the look with a pair of pointed toe heels.

The Cougar Town actress completed her dressy casual look with her long blonde locks styled in a flawless top knot.

James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly Brook looked trendy in coordinating dark wash jeans. Kimberly accessorized hers with a large, beige sweater and wide-brimmed black hat.

Lisa Kudrow added a pop of color to her ensemble of dark wash jeans, a black T-shirt, and a grey cardigan with an ombre teal scarf.

Actress Jordana Brewster kept it monochromatic in an all-black ensemble as she entered the fundraiser carrying her son Julian Form.

TV personality Kyle Martino and wife actress Eva Amurri seemed to be sporting the same pale grey as they arrived on the carpet.

He wore a simple T-shirt and matching cap, while she opted for a patterned dress coupled with black tights and a shiny black blazer.

Horrible Bosses 2 star Jason Bateman looked casual in a navy blue hoodie and blue jeans as he brought his daughters Maple and Francesca to Express Yourself 2014.
