A Human's MonologueA Poem by LizardoAnother new thingI'm just flesh and bone Nothing else than a star that’s gone Nothing more than a dream come true
What is life? What is space? What is time? A fogged shrouds my true intentions Nerveless I must control my thoughtful emotions They may end my world's notion
Therefore I sit under the sky Watching what there is left to find Waiting for a signal of life Waiting for my heart to ignite
I am nothing more than thoughts My heart is muscle that needs to fight My brain is the center of the endless night
Because watching the people around us Isn't worth our time or there's to be worth Because you are just sitting or walking or thinking Yet you don't know what you are making or dreaming
Therefore I say out loud to our world A world that was given from God: "I am nothing more than flesh and bone, I may be a thought walking in a dream, I'm not real nor a muse, I am me I don't know where home is I cry when I forget who I am I feel sad when I'm alone I am not real nor am I a thought I'm just a walking soul Trying to drink water at night For my endless flight"
