More like lyrics than a poem

I don't know why

Everything revolves around me

And I'm just watcher of my own

So let me play the game

I think of it at night

I thinkg of it in the dark

I want to be rescued

Because I'm lost 

And trying to keep myself from drowning

I burst in joy 

When I forget a memory

Another weight lifted from my back

Then I see the world around me

Fields of grass and sunlight beaming

Right at my soul

If I can feel the wind

Then it means I won the game

But I just feel it

When I come back

From being exile into the darkness

I expect to find answers and truths

From this world

I keep living in the past

Can't move forward without it

Well the news said I must move on

And forget my life

Slowly drifting away 

From the light

Quickly coming back to the light

Nothing we do starts with light, We have to make a light of our own to guide us in life
