Lost in the Sky

Lost in the Sky

A Poem by Lizardo
"

I'm so sorry..

"
Tears of water drop on
Flames of power go on
Feel the heat of the moment now
When our worlds come crumbling down

I felt the clouds drowning me
As those white colors turned to pitched black skies
I fell down to earth, covered in ash as the wind flew on my eyes
Thunder started to rumble through earth
And I was lost all the way back down

Tides of ocean strike shore
Crystals eyes form
Can't hold on for long
One knee on the ground
One leg up high
One hand down
One hand up high

I see waves of life
Waves of sound and waves of time
Igniting light upon a beacon of hope
As bright as the sun, I see light I see Now

Lost in the sky of silver stones
Hopeless wandering through earth's core
But I know
I keep going, but my feet can't hold on for long
I see light, while darkness sorrounds my body
I see it clear

Feel the song of your heart
Every power that makes
your body walk through earth
You walk
You eat
You will see
Earth unfolding upon your crystal eyes
Darkness may win
But light is always one step ahead

Keep that in your mind
Don't make those crystals eyes
Cry for this hopeless world
Instead

Hope for its best
Dream for its best
Don't cry for this
It will go all...

It will drift away
Like the wind carrying leafs through the air...
so don't cry
Don't feel hopeless
Because darkness never wins, and you are
You are a special human.

hey hey Lizardo! great imagery you got here :) the title still makes me wonder though. "Lost in The Sky" hmmmm were you thinking about the sky like...our sky up there or further than that? because as far as i know you're really interested in the outer space haha. great message of hope. only that i feel that the words "crystal eyes" were repeated in a way that makes the words loses its power. but, that's just my opinion, though. great write :)

The imagery and uplifting atmosphere in this piece is absolutely fantastic. I loved every single last line of this poem! I'd say that this is your best poem so far Lizardo! Keep up the magic :)

In the sky anything can happen, sometimes we all need to take the trip to be able to bare whatever reality throws at us. Possibilities are endless in the sky, and maybe there we can find hope. A great dreamful write :)

That was most astoundingly amazing. A fight for life and living, not just surviving. A knowing that life can pull you and push you back and make you fall sometimes, but you are strong enough to stand up and keep going and go up, way up.

"Tides of ocean strike shore
Crystals eyes form
Can't hold on for long
One knee on the ground
One leg up high
One hand down
One hand up high"
That was awesome. It sounded like the protagonist was like stuck in a sinking sand, one part reading to give in, but the other part reaching for a branch to get out.

the hope at the end ties up a very reflective piece

alot of it seems to be about transcendence

and the power of the spirit to triunph over hardship
