Goodbye

Here

Are my friends

Innocents

In this world

Here

I see a full moon

Waiting for me

To go from earth

I take 

the stairs to the moon

with every step

I watch my friends writing

Oh the stars shine tonight

What a joy

It was to be with all

Now its time

to say goodbye

I watch you from these stairs

I will not forget

What you all help me in

Oh, the neon moon shines

I'm waving goodbye

But they can't see me

Oh, theres one friend 

I would like to say goodbye too

Before I go 

(He decends back to a grass field)

(There is a young boy playing with a soccer ball)

(The stars and the moon are shinning)

"Oh dear friend" 

"Where were you?"

"I couldn't find you anywhere..."

"I've been wating to play with you"

(Tears form in my eyes seeing that youn childish face)

"Oh dear friend"

"Lets play, because I have to go"

"You're not going to see me"

"But I will be, in your heart"

(The young boy and me start playing soccer

In the grass field)

(After many laughs and tricks)

(The young boy turns around)

"haha..Friend..?"

"Where are you..?"

"Don't leave me now.."

I stared beyond earth

To my friend

Who has a good soul

Oh, tears form in my eyes

I walk to the moon

Remembering my adventure

The adventure that life has been

I watch my friends

They are all writing

And some are playing

But evertyhing

Has to end....

And I wave goodbye

From these stairs

May we meet

Another day

Just dream

And I will be there.

It seems like you did a little experimenting with this piece, and the result is a very emotionally charged poem. You really got me when it got to the part with the young boy with the soccer ball. You have really outdone yourself with this one!

Looking back before going on. it's funny how we wish to do that when we die rather than now. We squander so much while we here it's no reason why we come realizations before we leave...your poem makes us think about lives....
