Fahrenheit 451A Poem by LizardoThe book by Ray Bradbury
Bring the knowledge down
As far as the eye can see A burning book in the horizon As far as a human can agree Equally threating each other Books get destroyed By a fire, but not just any kind of fire The fire of not reading them Every book tells a story about the author who wrote it For us We still aren't finish with our books A world treated equally would be a disaster Although it would be in peace Where we fit in that perfect world? A world where nothing happens and everything Is calculated with thousands and thousands of equations Where would ''we'' come in? Ourselfs, we would be like anyone else No surprises, no nothing No adventures, no reading? But don't get me wrong there wouldn't be acts of ignorance in that world But I guess everything has it's favor and againts There would be no ''Difference'' No ''Us'' in other words Since we are all different But yet the same because we're different Watch the horizon from the beach Watch how a ''fire'' can weep knowledge And hear as far as a human can hear and watch with both of your eyes What you believe you're seeing Sometimes, our eyes play tricks on us We know what is reality, Because we see it with our eyes every day Let the books be heard for once Let everyone read a book and learn something new Someone who has a lot of wisdom Is considered great for this world.
