The Old House

The Old House

A Poem by Lizardo

I had a fear of this house
The memories started to rise to the sky
Showing how was everything before

My heart started pouding  faster
When I saw the reflection of my love one in the foutain
The ghostly voice came to say my name
I started to run

The Old house was bringing me
All of those memories
the ghost came to me and said
''Don you remember me?''
I was perplex by the event
I nodded and started to run another room

The events came rushing to my head again
When we used to play and kiss in this old house
But she had a tragic event
I never saw her again
Although I'm scare of her
It brings me joy to see her face again

The wind started to bring some windows down
Soon it will over
She came again and grabbed my hand
It was something I couldn't described
she led me out of the house and said
''I love you''

I was dying from the fear
But saw her ghostly face
Smiling at me
I smile back
And my soul wen't happily to heaven

Saw her in a white room
She smile at me
and hugged me
And spoke:
''We brought our sinking ship back to shore''

All things the good the bad the ugly and the not so happy moments are all part of our collective memories. It is who we are and what molds and define us. Our unique memories made us different as an individual. If its not for those pleasant and unpleasant experiences I have encountered early on in life . I would not have been able to appreciate what I have now and what have been given to me.

You are welcome muchly...:).................
I like where you are going with this one. As jacob said, your imagery is beautiful and haunting. I really liked the detail about your speaker seeing the reflection of his love in the fountain. Your last line also is very haunting and potent.

I also agree with jacob about the edits.

You show some promising skills in this poem. I like how you develop the story in this poem, and how your craft your images.

It will never fade :)
some ghosts just want peace, they are troubled, not scary...

needs editing, but contains some beautiful and haunting imagery.
