Reflections

A Poem by Lizardo

Reflections show above the sea
Showing every phace of me
Every wrong and every right
The reflections stand upon all
Wait, for the difference to come
It takes time, but it will come
The light always comes
And life is a hard game
Reflection show around my house
My mirros telling me not to lie
The mirros bouncing light
To endless games
Reflections waiting for me
At the sea
I can't walk a single step
My reflections wont stop showing
And I can't lie to myself
'Cause I know the truth...
Reflection show above the sea
Showing me the different types of faces
That I have
The mirros boucing light
To play game with it
While they are on that
I can't lie to myself

Someone said that our eyes are the mirrors of our soul. And our lips or speech are the reflection of our inner heart. A heart is always coined as representation of a person's character and virtues and principles. A person who discerns the truth and is aware that lying bothers him is someone or somebody that had a change heart. Something happened there and transpired there by which it cant and would no longer accepts and tolerates his set of values and principles. The way we think and act and speak and live is a reflection of our real values and beliefs and standard of how life should be lived. What an awesome introspection on this penned piece.

Mirrors tend to show us as we are and this exploration of that theme shows us the honesty of the author, I feel.

Thank you ANTO, I really appreciete it :)
I like it! It's not super bad:) I'll show you the worst thing I've written down. It's a song I made up in second grade....

Oh when I walk down the street
Oh oh oh oh
I like to walk
How I like to walk
I can walk like a movie star
Or a penguin
So come along with me
Oh when I walk down the street
Walk down the street
Walk down the street

Happy now?
That was super bad!
Yours was really good and I really like the ending:)

Thanks:) and you are so very welcome!
I wonder why you think that this is one of the worst you have written.... its certainly not bad at all.... reflections reflect the way one thinks of him/her...."Reflections show above the sea...showing me the different types of faces I have" ,,,beautiful line....

Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it. Because I thought that this wasn't one strong poem
if we can look at ourselves in the mirror...and know we have been honest with ourselves and others...that glass will always be clear.
