Take Off Your MasqueradeA Poem by Lizardo
I'm tired of everyone
Lying at him self Thoughts and memories You can't deny come bursting Out of your mind like a comet Traveling through a tremendoues High speed Do me a favor And take off your masquerade I hate people who are something else What you only see is them smiling at you With a happy face and gaining your confidence But when the moment comes They'll strike you with a lightning bolt of lies That will hurt you to the deepest part of your heart The masquerade that you use is very clever Most of us don't see it Because with you Playing the happy and friendly game of yours To us How can we really know who you are? So do me a favor And Take OFF YOUR MASQUERADE I don't like being lied to And don't acept people Who wan't to be someone who they don't are Just to gain your confidence and Strike you
