The View

The View

A Poem by Lizardo

We worked the land
But they got the view
Almost dying from the heat of the sun
We try to work as peacefully as we can

It's a Joy for them
They got the view
While we are the ones who are stucking our necks out
It feels sad
When we finish our work
They yell at us and critizicing us
'Cause we don't work harder

If life is not beautiful without the pain
Then it's not a lived Life
When life feels longer
Sorrow gets softer
And that feels pretty good for me

Every day and night
Working
while they are enjoying themselves
Watching us
From the View
