Ignis

Ignis

A Poem by Lizardo

The fire the runs on our heart
never stops from lighting the way
To our home

Fire is the lighthouse of men
Since the Dawn of time

The orange,yellow,red spark

The spark that runs through our veins
and lets us become with grace

The fire stops, the world stops

But fire can work in both ways
Its either for good or for bad

But our burning heart knows to differ it
The fire the our heart has, is the brightest of all

REALLY COOL COMPARISON. I REALLY LIKED HOW YOU OUTLINED THAT FIRE CAN BE BOTH AN ENEMY AND A FRIEND. I ALSO REALLY LIKED HOW YOU ASSOCIATED FIRE WITH BLOOD. THUS, IMPLYING THAT FIRE IS ESSENSIAL TO LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.

NOTE: IN THE FIRST LINE I THINK YOU MEANT TO SAY "THE FIRE "THAT" RUNS THROUGH OUR HEART".

I ALSO REALLY LIKED THE NAME THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO THIS PIECE.
