Ice

Ice

A Poem by Flynn

My heart doesn't beat

It's frozen and cold

To feel is sweet

But emotions aren't quite gold

To my frozen heart

It's encased in your ice

At the very start

You seemed so nice

But soon I was caged

With a ball and chain of ice

I have years above my age

To kill you would not suffice

Until you are in a case of ice

My heart will feel nothing sweet

Until you are trapped in ice

My heart will refuse to beat
