Premises: War

A Chapter by Joshua Hunter
"

The introduction to the Invisible War.

"

Every day we are on the frontlines of a war for our soul. Every decision we make in our day to day lives tips the scales for one side or the other. It is a battle of light versus dark, hope versus despair, the ultimate war of good versus evil. Therefore we must put on the full armor of God and arm ourselves for battle. We do not want to be caught unprepared, for our very souls are at stake. It is time to fight the good fight, to win back our lives for God. For only though Him can we be delivered, only through Him can we be saved. It is time to win the war once and for all, to put evil to rest and let good rein.

But this war we fight is not against flesh and blood, it is against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. It is an invisible war, one we cannot “see”, so most don’t think it matters or even exists. But it does because it is the most important war in all of history and has been going on since the beginning of time. Few people know about this war though, have even heard of it. So why be concerned with a war that is rarely talked about in the open. We should all be concerned with it for it affects us all, we all have a part to play in this war, and we all have a certain battle to fight. To ignore that is to give up, to let evil go unchecked. A wise man once said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” So fight! Resist! Rise up and take our lives back from the Evil One, and give them over to The One who gave them to us!

As I said before not many people know about this “invisible war”, but there are a few. And for one boy in particular it takes on “real meaning”. This is the story of that boy and his very real battle against the forces of evil. This is the story of Alexander Price and his personal fight for his very soul...

This war is very common and I think everyone knows it.. The battle between good and evil, between god and satan.. Between right and wrong.. The one depicted my many as the devil on one shoulder and the angel on the other.. telling what to do, what not to do, pulling in both directions.. Sitting on the edge of good and evil trying not to fall over to the bad while balancing so close sometimes to maybe get a glimpse of what it would be like to be.... well less then good.... I really enjoyed this read.. thank you, shallimarRose

Nice prologue i've always been fond of the qoute. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” That is particularly true of today's world. I"ll go on and read ch1
