Memories and Monsters

Aversion to studying for computer science. Short 'story'.

The child trod throughout the dense forest,
the place where the remains of joy were dumped since the beginning of eternity. She meandered into oblivion,
until every drop of her compassion had melted away in the cracks of cruelty. Her willowy frame held long swaying limbs and deep-set eyes that if ever examined, the universe could be seen, writhing and begging to disappear. Disgust flowed in her veins, choking every breath she had until her voice was a flood of hate. The girl was no longer a child, for her head was  filled with a cacophony of wretched noises and thoughts that had been overgrown with weeds. Dementia struggled to claw its way out of her trembling throat, leaving behind marks that would never be forgotten. It breathed into her ear, banging on her eardrum and repeated to her that she didn't matter. Memorandums of horrors haunted her, until she was nothing but a scrap, a piece of trash, paradoxically dead inside a living body.  Her heart was dropped by love for a shinier toy.
