It's this time.

It's this time.

The party is going when I step in. Darkness is coving part of the dance floor, while the other is illuminated by lights from colored lamps. A band plays rock music from the autotorium stage, and kids scream along with the song.

Some girl slides next to me. She grins and says. "Hi, my name is Bruna." then blushes. "Sorry, I'm no good with words."

I don't answer. Tonight is the night.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Tyler." I answer without looking. My studdering, she thinks, is romantic trip of the tongue. Too bad she doesn't know I don't really want to talk to her right now.

There he is. He's on the dance floor, raging his arms upwards and downwards. I grin evily and walk over to him.

Immediately I punch him.

The band keeps playing the world is still swaying.

I keep seeing that girl in my mind and the way I brushed her off.

Sorry. Really short songfic. It's kinda like the song, in some ways. Not the whole song. half, maybe. I couldn't think of anything else! Hope you like it anyway! =)

I read the whole book, and overall enjoyed it, but the first segment was the best by far! It had a lot of character, saddness, emotion. The others were all turning out to be little skits, not like the first one, which had a certian quality that I can't name.
Anyway, well done!
