Like WaterA Poem by allonsy_doctorA sort of dark poemThe funeral is dark No one wants to be there the girl inside the coffin the one with the blonde hair her eyes are pressed closed there are tears on the rug who would do this to her? some kind of thug the screaming tears of loved ones the horrifying phone calls at midnight the mourning by a gravestone which twinkles eerily in the starlight I cried alone in the room the knife on the floor when he came in when he bust down the door I came as soon as I could but I was too late my poor little girlfriend had met her sad fate I couldn't see the man I could only see his eyes twinkling with hate, horror and surprise The burning fire that raged towards him made my temper dangerously thin all I remember was her blood from the slaughter running through my fingers her blood like water © 2009 allonsy_doctorAuthor's Note
