This is good! I really like how you chose yourself over all of those other famous characters that many wish that they shared a life with. It shows that you love yourself, even with your faults. You are only human, after all, and you make mistakes. You might want to find some better adjectives for Jacob, because I didn't think of him that way. Over-all, it was a great piece, and with a little bit of changes, it could be really great. Good job!
