Not My Kinda SchoolA Poem by Livenrite
It's the beginning of a new day
and as I watch the great sun rise I cannot help but wonder why haven't I closed my eyes I see the children running about getting dressed while eating their school is not my kinda school they do lots of work and reading It's hard for me to keep busy with friends who cannot entertain they do nothing but swerve past me eying me as if I were insane I don't need to be told I'm different So all the stares could just stop why are you banging on the glass? If you know I respond from the top? And can't you make up your mind? what it is you prefer for my menu? it's not so difficult! shrimp or flakes? if you won't feed me...then who? Is it really that hard to chose? my home's scenery: rocks or sand? Come on! this is no big deal! I'm just your pet fish...I ain't grand
