I'm waiting for you

I'm waiting for you

A Poem by livemorbidia
"

A poem to the girl I love.

"

I'm waiting, waiting for you to realize I love you
Waiting for you to realize I hold the key to your heart
I've loved you for so long I can't truely love another
My body and soul ache when I think of you
It's so lonely here without you by my side
It's so cold here without you telling me it'll be alright
How many nights have I laid awake wondering how you are?
How many times have I pondered what we could be?
I guess I'll just wait for you here
at this intersection of our souls
I guess I'll just wait for you to know
that I love you and I always have
I would treat you like no other man has
I would be your knight in gleaming black armor
I would follow you anywhere and not ask where we are going
I love you my dearest friend and wish we could be more
I know that I'm just a hopeless romantic
And I know that my mind is sometimes frantic
But this is true love I know it

Author's Note

livemorbidia
This is for the girl I love more than anything in the world. She has been my best friend through thick and thin. I don't want to tell her that I love her because I don't want to ruin our friendship. After reading this poem and this note she'll probably know that it is her. But whats life with out risks.
