Buy Yourself a Life

Buy Yourself a Life

A Poem by Alex J.
"

The unedited shallow depth of my humor. Interpret as you will.

"
How can you breathe,
without any mind?
How troubled to be,
without any breath.
I stole some for you,
it's shiny and new,
like all things I take.

A thief, I am not.
I rot, as i sit.
I've never stole more than a glance.
People, they give me, whatever I ask.
My pockets are stuffed with paper called cash.
I could burn it, but I'd rather fish.
Compliments and fake cigarettes on a dish.
Worthless things, such as death.
They bother me not, for I'm already gone.
There's no soul to take when a life can be bought.
